The weather outside is frightful, but a delicious cup of hot chocolate tastes so delightful…
If you hadn’t already noticed when looking out of your window (or all over everyone’s Insta stories), it’s gloomy in Dubai. And rain is expected to lash the city over the upcoming weekend. But you know what that means…. It’s time to get cosy with an indulgent hot chocolate.
Here’s our pick of must-try hot chocolates in Dubai
Paul

PAUL Café’s hot chocolate is pure velvet in a cup. It’s rich, smooth, and decadently comforting. Pair it with one of their freshly baked pastries, and enjoy your cosy time. All yours for Dhs26.
Available across Paul Cafe’s in Dubai, paularabia.com
Angelina
Angelina’s decadent hot chocolate has earned itself high regard with Dubai residents. It comes from a unique recipe combining superior-quality African cocoas with artisanal know-how. Enjoy the decadence for Dhs43.
Godiva Chocolate Cafe

There are a number of master chocolatier Godiva Chocolate Cafes around Dubai, including in the Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall, JBR and Dubai Festival City. Their velvety hot chocolates come in three forms: the classic, pistachio, and godsalted caramel blonde for Dhs42. Another option you may skip past on the menu: the red velvet hot chocolate for Dhs39. Yum!
Home Bakery
The classic version of this steaming cup of hot chocolate comes with marshmallow toppings and a chocolate bar stirrer. They have an Ovaltine version which comes topped with whipped cream and golden sprinkles for that extra pop. Go with a friend and try both for Dhs33 each, so you can get a taste of both.
Cocoville
Cocoville’s hot chocolate is rich, creamy and indulgent, and we wouldn’t expect anything less. It comes with marshmallows and a small piece of chocolate. Note: It looks small, but it’s mighty.
North 28
If you’re going to Ski Dubai, head to North 28 after to warm up with a hot chocolate. They have a signature hot chocolate for Dhs23, and a smores hot chocolate for Dhs25. Oh, and both are pretty Instagrammable.
SAID DAL 1923
People have called the hot chocolate here as ‘divine’. If you’re craving decadence, this is like sipping on a melted chocolate bar in a cup. Pick from three options: Milk, dark or gianduja.
